So, my family is starting to call on their resident travel advisor to figure out a place for us to go so we can get out of the house. I’ve been doing these articles about travel to places in North America known for their natural beauty and wonders. But I don’t want to go that big on short notice. So, I’m trying to figure out what we can do on a smaller budget.
We could go to a State Park or a beach. Those are both within a day’s drive and could be good options. I hear on the news that the beaches are crowded. Although I do know of some great beaches that won’t be that crowded because they aren’t very commercialized. Not sure I want to visit Gatlinburg because I’ve heard its crowded too. We’re also considering just taking some day trips, so we don’t need to stay over-night.
We aren’t really worried about crowds of people but would prefer not to deal with all the requirements of social distancing. So, I’m looking for a place where we can just get away for a change of pace and to get out of the house. Hopefully by the time I do my newsletter next week, I’ll be able to tell you what we plan to do during this summer.
