I guess you can call me a dreamer. I have to admit, I think a lot about vacations. Not just because I am a travel advisor. I thought about vacations a lot before I started this profession. It’s probably why I chose this as my second career. Since I started my “new job”, I’ve had my eyes opened to some great travel ideas.
A long-standing vacation dream of mine is to travel out west to see some of our country’s outstanding National parks. Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequoia and Grand Canyon are just a few that quickly come to mind. I look forward to the opportunity to go see and experience some of God’s beautiful creation up close and personal.
More recently, I have become interested in cruising. Probably because I sell them. But they still are a great way to see the world. They are like traveling hotels. You unpack once and wake up in a new location every day. I am also amazed at the incredible ships that are being designed and built today. To me, they are almost as exciting as the destinations you travel to in them.
Most recently, I have been bitten by the bug to travel to Europe. There is some great history to see and many ways to see it. You can cruise the Mediterranean or Northern Europe, take inland tours of multiple countries in close proximity to each other. I’ve become quite intrigued by the prospect of river cruising through multiple counties while experience some of the best Europe has to offer. So, call me a dreamer. But dreams are the things life is made of.
