You may or may not be aware that I am in the midst of a personal transformation by losing a significant amount of weight. I am currently down about 55 pounds and feel so much better. I have lost 80 pounds and 90 pounds at two other points in my life and gained it all back. I had this success with Nutri System and the Atkins diets. They worked well, but I did not keep the weight off. So, I decided I have to do it different this time. I am working on a lifestyle change of diet and exercise.
My plan starts by taking more time to lose the weight. I’m thinking this is about a 3-year journey. I lost about 20 pounds at the beginning of 2019 on a whole 30 diet. That diet worked well, but it was not sustainable because, honestly, it is very difficult to shop for and prepare the food necessary for that diet. After ending that diet plan, I watched my eating with a goal of becoming more active. Increasing activity was easier said than done. I determined that I just had too much weight on my body, and I needed to get it off. So, in early 2020, I started a supplemental diet program called the Yoli Better Body System. The focus is on balancing your body chemistry by lowering acidity. It worked great as I lost 40 pounds within 3 months.
I have paused the strict “Transformation” diet at this point and have returned to more normal eating while continuing to use some of the Yoli products. I want to make sure I can maintain my weight before I lose any more. So far, I am amazed at how well I have been able to keep from regaining weight. I still watch what I eat, but honestly have snuck some desserts and chips in occasionally but have not regained any weight. I have more energy, so I am able to exercise every day.
